Penn Civics: Governance

This program takes place over 3 weekends and is a cohort based training designed to develop the leadership and governance skills of newly elected local, municipal and county officials. This training program prepares elected officials to be effective and accountable leaders while prioritizing transparent civic and community engagement. Our training schedule covers an array of topics and issues that elected officials face once in office. Presenters for this training will include elected officials at multiple levels as well as other government employees. 

This cohort is for individuals elected in 2025, prioritizing first time electeds who have not previously served in another capacity.
